CAN I USE MY INSURANCE?
I am not contracted with any insurance plans and do not process any insurance claims. All services are paid upfront. If you have a PPO insurance you are still able to use your benefits. I can provide you with a claim form to submit to your insurance for a reimbursement. It will be your responsibility to determine the benefits and eligibility. Many of my clients have utilized their benefits and have successfully been reimbursed.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Our fees range from $120.00 a session to 175.00 a session. Paid at time of sessions. For more information please contact us.
WHAT IS EMDR?
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy has been extensively researched and has demonstrated effectiveness for trauma. EMDR therapy does not require talking in detail about the distressing issue, or homework between sessions. EMDR, rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, allows the brain to resume its natural healing process. EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. Part of the therapy includes alternating eye movements, sounds, or taps. For many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies.
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
I accept cash, all major credit cards or debit cards. I also accept HSA and Flex spending cards with a MasterCard and Visa logo.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
I require 24 hours notice to cancel appointments. If cancellation is less than 24 hours you will be responsible for the entire fee.
